LSU has already lost star pass rusher Arden Key to the 2018 NFL Draft, and now another talented LSU defender will leave the team a year early.

CB Kevin Toliver II announced on Monday evening that he was going to forgo his senior year and turn pro.

As you can see below, Toliver thanked LSU and his coaches, but said it’s always been a dream of his to play in the NFL, which he’ll do next year:

Toliver will be the next LSU defensive back to further the Tigers’ “DBU” legacy, but it remains to be seen where he ends up getting drafted.

In 2017, Toliver recorded 27 tackles (two for a loss), one sack and one interception while often locking down opponents’ best receivers.
