The Steelers have officially announced he was diagnosed with a concussion and will not return to the game.

Beginning the season No. 2 on the depth chart, Rudolph stepped into the starting role after 16-year veteran Ben Roethlisberger was forced to undergo season-ending elbow surgery.

Selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Rudolph played at Oklahoma State from 2014-17. Starting 13 games in each of his final three seasons in Stillwater, he threw for 13,618 yards and 92 touchdowns.

Now late in the third quarter, Ravens at Steelers is airing regionally on CBS.
