Apparently, Stephen Davis Jr. had a change of heart.
With South Carolina set to begin spring practice this week in Columbia, a surprising name appeared on the spring roster — Stephen Davis Jr. The South Carolina legacy quit the football team last season but is being given an opportunity to make up for his decision to leave the team.
According to Ben Breiner of The State, Davis’ return to the program has been confirmed by South Carolina.
Davis was a three-star recruit in the 2016 recruiting cycle. He signed with Auburn before leaving the Tigers to join the Gamecock program last summer.
