Georgia took a big lead to halftime against TCU Monday night in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

And apparently the Bulldogs weren’t satisfied with the 38-7 advantage.

After a 3-and-out to open the 2nd half, Georgia got a stop on defense and then responded with a 4-play, 55-yard touchdown drive that was culminated by a 22-yard pass from Stetson Bennett to Brock Bowers.

It was the 3rd TD pass of the night for Bennett, who also has 2 rushing touchdowns in the game.

Bowers, meanwhile, has caught 7 passes for 152 yards in his return to his home state of California.

Nearly midway through the 3rd quarter, Georgia leads 45-7, as the Bulldogs now look almost assured of a 15-0 season and a 2nd consecutive national championship.
