Steve Spurrier hasn’t retired from talking, burns LSU while speaking in Louisiana

Steve Spurrier is no longer tossing his visor on the sidelines, but that doesn’t mean the Head Ball Coach has changed a bit.
Speaking at the Independence Bowl kickoff luncheon in Shreveport, La., Spurrier burned LSU fans with one of his classic zingers.
"You can have good ball players and still not win football games — all you LSU fans know about that."

LSU fans know all too well that signing a highly ranked recruiting class does not guarantee success on the football field. It’s a big reason why Ed Orgeron will be leading the Bayou Bengals this season and not Les Miles.
Spurrier currently serves an ambassador for the Florida athletic department, so the Tigers can add this to the running list of Gator trolls, taunts and disses directed at LSU this offseason.
