The College Football Playoff replaced the Bowl Championship Series last season and with it, the SEC’s national championship favorability based on strength of schedule.

Using the former BCS computer rankings, also known as the College Football Computer Composite rankings, USA Today reports unbeaten LSU would be the nation’s current No. 1 team, leaping 10 spots from last week after an impressive win over Florida.

Alabama is ranked No. 5, ahead of five Power 5 unbeatens despite an early-season loss to Ole Miss. Florida (10), Texas A&M (17), Ole Miss (20), Mississippi State (21) and Georgia (25) round out the top 25.
