Super Bowl 50 was supposed to be a game of epic proportions, with two great quarterbacks going head to head.

But that’s not exactly how it’s shaping up.

At the end of the first quarter, the Broncos lead the Panthers 10-0, and neither Peyton Manning nor Cam Newton are responsible for any points.

Denver has 71 total yards, while Carolina has just 28 yards so far. Manning and the Broncos have gotten three first downs and Newton and his Panthers have gotten four.

The Broncos struck first with a field goal, but those three points were hard fought.

After three and outs on both sides, the Panthers were deep in their own territory when Newton was sacked by former Aggie LB Von Miller. Miller forced a fumble, and another Bronco returned it for a touchdown.

So far, Newton has been sacked twice and Manning has been sacked once.
