Mecole Hardman won’t be suiting up at wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII, but he’ll remember Feb. 12, 2023 for the rest of his life. The former Georgia wideout excitedly announced early Sunday morning that his girlfriend’s water broke.
Hardman, who is on injured reserve and not playing Sunday, shared the news on his Twitter account. With so much going on, he has understandably yet to tweet any further updates.

Last year, Los Angeles Rams WR Van Jefferson learned after winning the Super Bowl that his wife was in labor and rushed out of SoFi Stadium.
We’ll see if another former SEC wide receiver continues the Super Bowl baby streak in 2024. The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are set for 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
