Super Saturday in Baton Rouge! Three 2018 prospects from same school pledge to LSU
Ed Orgeron is known as a fantastic recruiter.
In his first year as head coach of LSU, it’s widely expected that the Tigers will pull in a fantastic 2018 recruiting class. Based upon Saturday’s results, it seems more like a certainty.
LSU just garnered the commitments of 2018 prospects DT Davin Cotton, DB ArDarius Washington, and LB Micah Baskerville. All three attend Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport:

Of the three, Cotton is considered the headliner. The 4-star chose LSU over an offer from Tennessee and heavy interest from Alabama and Florida State. Cotton is also considered a top-100 prospect nationally — and for good reason. He plays with a low center of gravity, and is explosive when both stopping the run and rushing the passer.
Baskerville and Washington are both 3-star prospects. Washington figures to end up as a corner, and Baskerville will likely be an inside linebacker.
With the trio of pledges, LSU now has 10 public commitments for this class.
