Syracuse rocked the college football world on Saturday, as the Orange knocked off Miami in a game that could be devastating for the Hurricanes chances at making the College Football Playoff.
The Orange have had a terrific first year under coach Fran Brown, as the team finished 9-3. With Syracuse defeating Miami, it will now be Clemson going to the ACC Championship Game to take on SMU.
After the game, Brown made sure to give a little shoutout to Dabo Swinney.

“Hey Dabo Swinney, congrats, I got you in,” Brown said after the game.
Swinney wasn’t the only coach that Brown mentioned postgame, as he also gave a shoutout to Georgia coach Kirby Smart.
“Hey Kirby Smart, thank you for that message earlier Kirby,” Brown said. “It means so much to me Coach Smart. I appreciate you, I love you. Thank you.”
Before he became the head coach at Syracuse, Brown was the defensive backs coach at Georgia and was on the staff when the Bulldogs defeated TCU in the national championship.
The Orange will have a chance for their first 10-win season since 2018, and it is the most wins for a first-year coach at Syracuse since 1991 when Paul Pasqualoni was the coach.
