Ahead of Halloween next week, SEC Network’s Takeo Spikes and Alyssa Lang assigned Halloween costumes for several coaches and players around the SEC.
One of those coaches was Nick Saban, who can be scary enough to SEC opponents without a Halloween costume.
Spikes explained the Saban’s costume this season is Michael Myers, the notorious cereal killer from the Halloween movies, noting Saban’s return from the dead after the early loss to Texas.

“Let’s go back to the Texas game,” Spikes said. “They lost against Texas, did not play well defensively, then went to South Florida, and Jalen Milroe, the starting quarterback who we thought was the starting quarterback, he wasn’t there. You play 2 quarterbacks, 2 different halves, and you know what? We buried them, we thought the Crimson Tide was dead, but you know what Nick Saban did? He got up and looked at ’em like Michael Myers and said, ‘I’m still here.’ And they’re leading the SEC West.”
Saban is hoping to keep his team’s return from the dead going this season as Alabama looks to make its way into the SEC Championship. The Tide get an off week this week, but then will be back in action against LSU.
