Talented South Florida CB Chandler Jones lists 3 SEC teams in top 5

There’s a new Chandler Jones in football – and SEC teams are making a serious run at him, according to a new top five list that the talented recruit tweeted out on Sunday.
Jones plays at Miami Central, home of Division I athletes like Antonio Brown, Willis McGahee, and Dalvin Cook. He looks to add his name to that list during this recruiting cycle, and three of his top five choices are SEC schools.

Kentucky, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt make the list for Jones, a 3-star recruit. According to 247Sports Composite, Jones is the No. 221 prospect in Florida and No. 1422 overall.
On the field, Jones is a playmaker who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty by playing physical. Though his speed isn’t the kind of elite that often comes out of Miami, he makes up for it with wiley coverage skills and a knack for being in the right place at the right time.
At 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, he’s far from a shrimp, and he should fill nicely into his frame once he gets on a college weight program.
