Georgia offensive lineman and future NFL Draft pick Tate Ratledge announced that he would be returning for one more season in Athens.
Ratledge will return as an anchor on the Georgia offensive line in 2024. The 2023 AP All-American has started at right guard in 27 games over four years with the Bulldogs, with him only missing starts due to injury.

After briefly appearing in 2020, Ratledge started at right guard in UGA’s season-opening win over Clemson in 2021. But, he suffered a lisfranc injury in the first quarter of that game that caused him to miss the remainder of the 2021 campaign.
With better health, Ratledge emerged as a star. He started at right guard in 14 of the team’s 15 games in 2022 before he started in 12 of 13 games this past season. On top of being named to the AP All-America Second Team, Ratledge was also named to the All-SEC First Team in 2023.
He figures to be a leader for a Georgia offense that will bring back Carson Beck at quarterback and adds running back Trevor Etienne from Florida as well as wide receivers London Humphreys (Vanderbilt) and Collie Young (Miami).
