Taurean York, a 2023 3-star linebacker, announced his commitment to an SEC team on Monday night.

York originally committed to the Baylor Bears back in February. However, York de-committed from the Bears on Dec. 11. Just 2 days later, the Texas A&M Aggies offered the young linebacker. York also received a visit from Trooper Taylor, an assistant head coach at Duke.

On Monday night, York confirmed his commitment to A&M on social media.

York plays for Temple High School in Temple, Texas. York contributed to a 2nd-place district finish for the Temple Wildcats in 2022.

York is the second prospect to commit to A&M on Monday, joining 4-star QB Marcel Reed. The Aggies’ 15th-ranked class should move up in the rankings even more after the 2 solid additions.
