When 2017 four-star athlete Maleik Gray committed to Tennessee last weekend, it was only a matter of time before his high school teammate, three-star receiver Princeton Fant, followed.
Fant’s decision became official on Saturday at the Volunteers’ “Orange Carpet Day.”

After Gray’s commitment last weekend, Fant was eager to make his decision official as well, according to GoVols247:
“Nobody else really excited me as much as Tennessee had done,” he told GoVols247 before announcing his decision Saturday afternoon. “I felt like that’s the place I see myself playing at.”
Tennessee’s “Orange Carpet Day” recruiting event has now netted two commitments for the Vols, with more likely to be announced before Saturday ends.
