The Branson, Missouri, native and Link Academy prospect picked the Vols over Kansas State, Northwestern and Virginia. He is On3’s No. 141 player in the class of 2023.
He joins two other 4-stars in Freddie Dilione and JP Estrella and 3-star Cade Phillips, who also comes from Link Academy. Carr also joins current Vol Julian Phillips, who played at Link Academy as well.
Carr has size in the wing spot standing at 6-4 with a 7-foot wingspan.
Basketball runs deep in Carr’s family. His father Chris Carr played in the NBA for six seasons across the 1990s and early 2000s before spending some time playing overseas.
