Tennessee in danger of reaching another historic low if Brady Hoke can’t win a game

It’s been a season of lows for the Tennessee Volunteers, who fell to 4-6 with a loss to Mizzou on Saturday and now faces the possibility of missing a bowl game.
However, an even more embarrassing low could be coming, especially now that the Vols have fired coach Butch Jones and replaced him with interim coach Brady Hoke.
That’s because if the Vols lose their last two games, they’ll have eight losses for the first time in history, which is stunning considering how long Tennessee has had a football program. In fact, only two Power 5 teams have never lost eight games:

Home games against LSU and Vanderbilt loom on the schedule, and neither will be easy, especially now that the team is in turmoil at the coaching spot.
However, Hoke will need to lead the Vols to at least one victory or the program will reach a historic low. Also worth mentioning: if the Vols lose out, they’ll finish 0-8 in SEC play.
It’s a tough time to be a Tennessee fan right now.
