Tennessee for the 2nd time in 3 years knocked off Alabama in Knoxville, this time by a score of 24-17. It wasn’t quite the all-time classic that the matchup was 2 years ago when he the Volunteers won that game, 52-49, but a win against Alabama is big no matter what.

While Tennessee fans were celebrating after the game, there was some frustrations throughout the day for fans.

With the Volunteers trailing 7-0, one of those fans got caught letting their emotions get the best of them, and they got caught on television throwing up the double bird.

This was a huge win for the Volunteers, as the team didn’t have any wins against teams currently ranked in the Top 25. A loss wouldn’t have ended their College Football Playoff chances, but it would have made it a lot tougher.

In the end, most of Knoxville is happy and the fans are surely celebrating the victory in a more positive and excited way. Tennessee has a little while to enjoy this win, as the Volunteers will have a bye next week before hosting the Kentucky Wildcats in 2 weeks.

If Tennessee keeps winning, the Playoff is in sight for Josh Heupel and company.
