Video: Tennessee high school band plays Rocky Top in Florida

Tennessee may have an 11-game losing streak to the Gators on the gridiron, but that isn’t stopping these high schoolers from playing Rocky Top loud and proud on a trip to Orlando.
A Facebook video shows the Dobyns-Bennett High School marching band playing Rocky Top as it marched down Main Street at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom last week.

While some Gators fans in attendance may have taken this performance as a direct message from a group of Tennessee teenagers, it is important to note that many high school bands from the Volunteer State routinely play Rocky Top as a regular part of their playlist.
It’s a song that the state embraces just as much as the Vols football program.
