In advance of next week’s early signing period opening, the Tennessee Volunteers scored a big win on the trail for their 2023 class.
Ethan Davis, a 4-star tight end prospect from Georgia, is headed to Knoxville. Davis announced the news on Twitter.

The Collins Hill product is a high 4-star in the 247Sports Composite. He’s rated as the No. 7 player at his position and the 11th-best prospect from the talent-rich state of Georgia. Overall, he’s rated as the 112th prospect in his class.
At 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, Davis was a 2-sport star for Collins Hill and drew power conference offers in both football and basketball. He’s joining the Vols class over Ole Miss, among others. He’s the 2nd known commitment for the Vols’ 2023 class
