Tennessee players, recruits react on social media to Jeremy Pruitt’s firing

Shock, confusion and misunderstanding were some of the immediate reactions from Tennessee players following the reported firing of coach Jeremy Pruitt on Monday.
At least a couple current players appear to “locked in” with their brothers, as they tweeted, or supported a teammate’s sentiment. Tennessee’s highest-rated commit, OLB Dylan Brooks of Roanoke, Alabama, tweeted “peace out” but later deleted the tweet.
They will perhaps get some clarity when Tennessee officials hold a 3 p.m. ET press conference to address the situation going forward.
