Tennessee QB Dobbs uniquely qualified to face off against A&M’s defensive ends
Going up against Texas A&M’s pass-rushing duo of Daeshon Hall and Myles Garrett is no easy task.
The duo is likely the best one-two punch of anywhere in the country. With that said, Tennessee signal-caller Josh Dobbs has two skills he may be able to use in order to combat the expected pressure: his legs and his ability to throw touchdowns when under siege.

Dobbs leads the nation with seven touchdown throws whilst under pressure. It’s a poignant statistic to point out for Saturday’s contest — especially when taking into account UT’s inconsistent play from its offensive tackles.
Garrett and Hall will likely “get theirs” as it pertains to quarterback hurries and sacks. When the pocket is collapsing, Dobbs is also mobile enough to evade defenders and scoot up field for positive yardage. It’s something A&M has to account for — likely with a middle linebacker designated as the spy on Dobbs.
