Tennessee QB Jarrett Guarantano reacts on Twitter to news OL Cade Mays was cleared to play

A good offensive line is a quarterback’s best friend. Tennessee has a solid one already this year, headlined by potential first-round draft pick Trey Smith.

However, the Vols were waiting to see if the SEC would clear Georgia transfer OL Cade Mays, who had to sit out Saturday’s win over South Carolina while awaiting the decision.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Mays had been cleared by the SEC, and that led QB Jarrett Guarantano to celebrate on Twitter:

Mays and Smith are elite blockers, and that’s only going to help Guarantano moving forward.

Now, we’ll see if Mays takes out his frustrations on Mizzou defensive linemen this weekend.
