In his final game on the collegiate level, Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs went out in style.
The Vols’ signal-caller performed exceptionally well versus Nebraska in the Music City Bowl — leading the team to a 38-24 victory.

Dobbs was simply sensational — as he threw for 291 yards and a touchdown, and added 118 yards and three touchdowns with his legs. In the process, he set the UT single-season record for rushing touchdowns (12) by a quarterback.
The Georgia native has had a fascinating career in Knoxville. As many in the SEC are privy to, Dobbs has garnered some criticism for inconsistent play.
With that said, he’s also led the team to three-straight bowl victories. He’s thrown for 7,138 yards and 53 touchdowns during his time at Tennessee. Dobbs has also rushed for 2,160 yards and 32 touchdowns.

Perhaps more than anything, Dobbs has represented the program exceptionally well — with considerable character, leadership, and class.
He will be missed in Knoxville, as he attempts to start a professional career in the NFL.
