Tennessee wide receiver announces intent to enter NCAA transfer portal

Jimmy Holiday announced Wednesday that he would be leaving the Tennessee program and entering the NCAA transfer portal.

The junior wide receiver made the announcement via Instagram.

Holiday is a 6-0, 205-pounder from Flora, Mississippi.

He caught 6 passes for 106 yards and touchdown for the Volunteers this season while also returning kicks.

Holiday actually starred in high school as a dual-threat quarterback.

A 3-star prospect according the 247Sports composite, he picked Tennessee over offers from the likes of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Florida State, and TCU, among others.
