Tennessee’s first recruiting weekend under Jeremy Pruitt was a success

Jeremy Pruitt and the rest of Tennessee’s new coaching staff have been going hard on the recruiting trail since arriving in Knoxville.
The Volunteers just held an important recruiting weekend, and it appears many of the prospects they hosted enjoyed their visits.
Tennessee’s class of 2018 is currently No. 30 in the nation, according to 247Sports’ Composite Team Rankings. It has slipped to 10th in the SEC after being the conference’s No. 1 class just a few months ago. That tends to happen when you go 4-8.
But Pruitt and the staff, of course, have been working to change that.
Highly-rated athlete Alontae Taylor, who decommitted from UT in November, appears to be interested in the Vols again:

Tennessee’s top-rated commit, 4-star defensive tackle Greg Emerson, can’t wait to sign:

The Vols’ coaching staff made some major in-home visits on Friday, as well:

The visit with Copeland went so well, he’s decided to take an official to Knoxville next weekend:
