Tennessee’s Jeremy Pruitt being thrown high praise for Alabama’s defensive Playoff performance

Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is still serving as Alabama’s defensive coordinator.
That was part of the agreement when he signed up to coach the Volunteers — that he could finish the job he started this season with the Crimson Tide.
Some Vols fans are ok with that, and others aren’t. Either way, it appears Pruitt will be staying in Tuscaloosa for another week to coach up his defense one more time.
At the time of this post, Alabama was wrapping up a convincing victory over Clemson in the Sugar Bowl. The Tide was leading 24-6 in the fourth quarter.
Pruitt received a lot of love on Twitter for his coaching job against the Tigers.
I guess Jeremy Pruitt was able to properly navigate both his head coaching responsibilities along with his coordinator responsibilities unlike a certain C-USA Head Coach that likes to tweet.

How much is Jeremy Pruitt’s defense dominating the No. 1 team in the country?
It’s about to be the 4th quarter and Clemson doesn’t even have 100 total yards.#SugarBowl

This Jeremy Pruitt guy has held the number one team in college football to 99 total offensive yards through three quarters. Someone should think about hiring him as a head coach.

So @CoachJPruitt defenses have 27 TDs in the past five seasons. #Vols had 25 total offensive TDs this past season. Dude’s defenses are aggressive, fearless.

Jeremy Pruitt can keep Tennessee fans happy with his recruiting AND do this.
I’ll allow it.
