Davis, the second-ranked prospect at his position nationally per 247Sports Composite rankings, picked the Terps over Florida in a nationally-televised announcement at the Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando, Fla.
Davis said that he was impressed by the energy new Maryland head coach D.J. Durkin has shown since taking the Terps job.
