Texas A&M added a big-play receiving threat to the wideout room on Thursday.

Former Grand Valley State wide receiver Jahdae Walker has verbally committed to the Aggies. Walker announced the news on his social media, picking A&M over interest from Kentucky, Mississippi State, Colorado, and Michigan State, among others.

He’ll have 3 years to play 2 for the Aggies.

Grand Valley State had Walker listed at 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds. He played sparingly during the 2021 campaign — his first year with the program — but emerged as a big-play weapon in 2022.

In 11 games, Walker brought in 30 receptions for 623 yards and 4 touchdowns in an offense that powered GVSU to a 12-1 record and the best conference mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). His 20.8-yards-per-catch clip ranked first among league receivers with at least 10 catches.

Walker is the Aggies’ 12th transfer addition so far this offseason and the second at wide receiver.
