Texas A&M is set to make a very late addition to its 2026 roster, according to a report.
Per TexAgs analyst Ryan Brauninger, the Aggies have added 2027 defensive back commit Loia Valade to their 2026 team. Valade has decided to re-classify to the 2026 recruiting cycle and is set to enroll in College Station next week.
It remains to be seen whether or not Valade will contribute for the Aggies in 2026 despite missing nearly all of offseason workouts, but he certainly has some talent. Valade chose Texas A&M over offers from programs like Florida and Miami.
Valade attends West Boca Raton High School in Boca Raton, Florida. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds.
