Texas A&M has added a blue-chip wide receiver to its 2026 recruiting class with a commitment from an Aggie legacy.
Mike Brown, son of former Texas A&M linebacker Reggie Brown, has pledged to play for Mike Elko and the Aggies. He verbally committed to Texas A&M on Monday with help from On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Brown is out of Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon in Spring, Texas. He is listed as measuring 5-11 and 175 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Brown is rated 4-stars, the No. 50 player in the state of Texas and nationally the No. 55 wide receiver and No. 348 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.
Before committing to Texas A&M, Brown was widely recruited. He picked up 40 scholarship offers, drawing interest from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State and others. Brown committed to Texas A&M over Texas, Alabama and Michigan.
With Brown on board, Texas A&M now has 8 commitments in its 2026 class, which ranks No. 6 nationally on the Composite. Aggie fans who don’t already follow Legacy football can get a preview of what Brown brings to College Station by checking out his highlights in the Hudl video below.
