Texas A&M will begin a home-and-home series against Ohio State next season, as the men’s basketball program has setup a return game in College Station for the 2024-25 season.
The game this Nov. 10th in Columbus, according to a report from Jon Rothstein, a college basketball insider.
Ohio State is coming off of a disappointing season as it went 16-19 overall and 5-15 in the B1G. It was only the second time since the 2003-04 season that Ohio State did not win at least 20 games.
The Aggies have battled a weak non-conference schedule in recent years, which has played a factor in their NCAA Tournament resume. It’s why the Aggies were left out of the 2021 NCAA Tournament and received a less-than-deserving seed last month. This is expected to bolster that argument.
The Aggies last season won 15 conference games for the first time in 100 years. The Aggies lost to Alabama in the SEC Tournament Championship, and then fell to Penn State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. That was the Aggies’ first appearance in the tournament in 5 years.
This is another non-conference game after Rothstein reported last week that the Aggies would face Houston.
