Texas A&M players react to committee’s decision to leave the Aggies out of the College Football Playoff

Did Texas A&M deserve a shot to play for it all over Notre Dame (which just got blown out on Saturday night) or Ohio State (which played just six games and the Big Ten had to change its rules just to allow the Buckeyes to play for the league championship)?

It’s hard to argue otherwise when you consider Texas A&M just completed its regular season with an 8-1 SEC record with a big win on the road against Tennessee.

While Texas A&M likely deserved that shot, the Aggies were just ranked No. 5 by the committee while 6-0 Ohio State is ranked No. 3 and Notre Dame is ranked No. 4 coming off a 34-10 loss to Clemson in the ACC Championship Game.

To no surprise, a few Aggies were quick to vent their frustrations with the College Football Playoff committee’s decision to leave the Aggies out this postseason.
