Texas A&M punter delivers punt of the year, making Joe Tessitore go wild

Texas A&M is handing it to No. 9 Mizzou on Saturday in College Station. It’s one of those days where everything is going right for the Aggies and nothing is going right for the Tigers.
Mike Elko had his squad ready to roll for this former Big 12 matchup. Eli Drinkwitz did not have the Tigers ready to play, despite the fact Mizzou was off last week.
How good of a day was it for the Aggies? Well, check out this punt from Texas A&M’s Tyler White just before halftime. Even Iowa fans would stand and applaud for this showcase of great punting:

The Aggies led the Tigers 34-7 at the end of the third quarter. It was a defensive showcase for the Aggies. The Tigers’ offense couldn’t get anything going. And when it did, it shot itself in the foot with dumb penalties.
Then, even when there was a chance to take advantage of a rare Texas A&M punt, Tyler White went out and delivered the best punt of the college football season.
The Aggies are going to skyrocket up the rankings this week, while the Tigers will plummet. We’ll see if this ends up as a pivotal moment for each program moving forward.
