Texas A&M has reportedly made a big addition to its defensive back room.

According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Texas A&M has signed former Washington cornerback Jordan Shaw. He recorded 4 tackles for loss and 6 pass deflections this season for the Huskies.

Texas A&M will be Shaw’s third school in the last 3 years. He played the 2022 season at Indiana before transferring to Washington in 2023. Shaw redshirted during his lone season in Bloomington before moving on to Washington ahead of the 2024 campaign.

He’ll now arrive in College Station with 3 years of eligibility remaining.

According to Pro Football Focus, Shaw was targeted 36 times this season in coverage. He allowed 22 receptions for 233 yards and 1 touchdown. He does not have any career interceptions. Overall, he earned a PFF coverage grade of 69.5 for his work in 2024.

Shaw would give the Aggies 12 commitments out of the portal so far in 2025. Texas A&M has a top-5 transfer portal class so far this offseason, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Texas A&M has not yet officially confirmed Shaw’s signing.
