Texas A&M says it took Missouri’s crowd noise comments personally

Texas A&M has already pulled off one of the biggest shockers of the day as the Aggies downed the No. 9-ranked Missouri Tigers, 41-10 on Kyle Field.
It’s safe to say that going up against a ranked opponent like this at home already served as enough motivation for Mike Elko’s team, but there was a bit more to it.
Missouri quarterback Brady Cook appeared to have taken some shots at the Aggies’ home environment ahead of the game that didn’t look so good after such a lopsided upset loss.
“At some point it can only get so loud,” Cook said earlier this week. “In my opinion, the noise at practice is actually louder. They put these big speakers pretty much two feet right behind me. You can’t hear anything. It’s loud. At stadiums, it’s loud, but it’s like a surrounding, more distant loud.”

Texas A&M running back Le’Veon Moss took that to heart.
“What I took personally was them saying that practice would be louder than the whole stadium,” he told reporters after the game. “I took that personally because the 12th Man supports us to the end, no matter what.”
He had a clear goal in mind coming into the contest, and there’s question Moss and the Aggies accomplished just that.
“I’m sorry to say that again, but I’m just balling,” Moss said. “We just wanted to come out and keep putting our foot on their necks.”

Moss ran for 138 yards and 3 scores in the game. It was a 24-0 game at the halftime break and then Moss took the first play of the second half 75 yards for a score.
Texas A&M will look to keep moving forward with this level of dominance as it faces Mississippi State up next on the schedule on Oct. 19.
