Texas A&M’s Week 2 contest vs. Miami could be starting with a weather delay.
According to reports on the ground in Miami Gardens, players exited the field during warmups due to lightning strikes in the area.

Per 247Sports’ Carter Karels, the tentative start time for Texas A&M-Miami is set for 3:41 p.m. ET. That would indicate just an 11-minute delay from its initial start time of 3:30 p.m.
Based on the clock in Hard Rock Stadium, it appears that Texas A&M vs. Miami will be slightly delayed to 2:41 p.m. CT.
No word yet on if the Notre Dame/NC State delay will move this game to a different TV channel.

Weather delays have been common across college football on Saturday so far. They’ve impacted games throughout the east coast, including matchups in Blacksburg and Raleigh.
Texas A&M is a road favorite in this game. The Aggies defeated Miami 17-9 a year ago in College Station.
Miami is 1-0 so far this season with a win over Miami (Ohio). The Hurricanes won 38-3 thanks to a strong showing on both sides of the ball last week.
Texas A&M is also 1-0 on the year after defeating New Mexico 52-10 last week.
