Texas A&M chancellor on coaching search: We intend to have the best coach in the nation

Texas A&M is reportedly in heavy pursuit of Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher to take over with the same position in College Station.
There have been plenty of reports lately about the potential move, and on Thursday, everything still sounded positive for Aggies fans.
Chancellor John Sharp detailed his expectations for the Aggies’ next coach.
“We’ve got the best facilities in the SEC. We’ve got the best stadium,” Sharp said. “And we intend to have the best coach before this is over with.
When asked what he was looking for in the new coach:
“Nothing serious … Just one that will win a national championship. No big deal.”
Texas A&M insiders apparently are still confident that Fisher will leave Tallahassee for College Station. That announcement could come very soon:
And insiders continue to claim that next coach will be Jimbo Fisher, announcement should come by Sunday.
