College football coaches have been known to hype up — or even bloviate when speaking about the fortunes of their respective teams.
Texas A&M defensive coordinator John Chavis demonstrated some of this rhetoric on Tuesday:

Now, these are strong words from the veteran assistant coach. As currently constituted, the Aggies are undefeated — sitting as the No. 6 team in the country.
With a trip to Alabama this upcoming weekend, Kevin Sumlin’s team has an opportunity to make a massive statement.
The A&M fan base can only hope Chavis is clairvoyant in regards to this prediction.
