Former holiday Bowl MVP and Texas Tech QB Davis Webb will no longer be a Red Raider.
Texas Tech confirms that QB Davis Webb will transfer. Will graduate, be eligible in 2016. Was Holiday Bowl MVP in 2013.

Given that the neighboring Aggies are in need of some quarterback depth, Webb could be heading to College Station for 2016.
Webb didn’t play much in 2015, but he was still fairly successful when he did take the field. He was 22 of 41 for 300 yards and 2 TDs on the season. Webb didn’t throw a single interception this season.
He ended the 2014 season with stellar numbers and as an addition to number of award watch lists, but he lost the starting spot to sophomore QB Patrick Mahomes.
