Texas signee glad he didn’t choose Texas A&M amid allegations of racial slurs

Texas A&M is under fire for allegedly shouting racial slurs to a group of high school students visiting College Station on Friday, and the claims have created some backlash from recruits.

Former Aggies target recruit Jeffrey McCulloch spoke out against the university amidst the allegations.

Really glad I didn't go to A&M I see how they really feel about African Americans from what they mention me in daily with constant slander??

The five-star linebacker out of Houston visited Texas A&M in January, but he chose to sign with the Longhorns.

McCulloch received a lot of criticism for his tweets, and a lot of it came from Aggies fans who point out that Texas also has its share of racial issues.

But McCulloch remains firm and continues to defend his original tweets, although as you can see from comments, at least a few of his responses were deleted.
