Christian Kirk has been garnering attention ever since he arrived at College Station. The former 5-star recruit broke 1,000 yards his first year as an Aggie. He followed that spectacular 2015 season with a stellar sophomore campaign, catching nine more touchdowns, bringing his career total to 16.
Kirk is listed on nearly every preseason All-American list across the country. With the Aggies losing a few key wide receivers, all eyes will be on Kirk in 2017. Despite his small frame, Kirk is a matchup nightmare with his precise route running and blazing speed.
The Arizona native is being asked to be more than just a great receiver. He needs to make an impact on special teams as well.
Texas A&M WR/KR/PR/Mr. Everything Christian Kirk said he is serving as the Aggies’ primary kick returner heading into the UCLA game.

Sumlin has faith that Kirk will have the fitness to handle multiple jobs. Special teams are no joke in the SEC. Just ask former Texas A&M kickoff returner Speedy Noil, he learned that lesson the hard way last fall.
Ouch…
