Florida barely slipped by Kentucky last season, rallying for a 28-27 victory in Lexington. Freddie Swain caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Luke Del Rio with 43 seconds remaining in the game to cap off Florida’s rally from 13 points down in the fourth quarter.
The Gators are coming off of an energizing win over Charleston Southern, where QB Feleipe Franks threw for five touchdowns in the just the first half. Kentucky on the other hand struggled with Central Michigan, were they were forced to make a QB change after starter Terry Wilson Jr. threw two interceptions.
Kickoff between the two teams is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on Saturday.
