Alabama LB Reggie Ragland returned to the Tide for his senior season to improve his draft stock for the NFL after being projected as second-round pick for the 2015 draft.
“I decided to stay and in the back of my mind, I knew I wanted to stay because I wanted to become a smarter player before I went to the NFL,” Ragland said.
It worked, because Ragland is now projected to be a first-round pick for the 2016 draft. So now he’s doing something more.
According to al.com, Ragland is trying out a new position for the Senior Bowl to show off his wide range of skills.
“That league is a grown man’s league,” Ragland said. “I don’t want to go in there half-stepping.”
