Tim Tebow is officially a baseball player: Details and video from his first day with the New York Mets
Tim Tebow is back in orange and blue.
The former Florida and NFL quarterback went through his first workout with the New York Mets at the team’s instructional league camp in Port St. Lucie, Florida, on Monday morning. A flock of fans assembled to watch Tebow, currently an analyst for the SEC Network, launch his MLB career at the age of 29.

Tebow, who is listed as an outfielder, wore the same No. 15 he donned at Florida. Port St. Lucie is only about 230 miles from Gainesville, so Gators fans came in droves to watch the former two-time national champion quarterback transition to a new sport.

Though there was plenty of hype for Tebow’s first day in the Mets’ organization, it may not have gone as well as he had hoped.
Tebow just airmailed one from 45 feet. Over the throwing partner and fence. Not sure i've seen that before on this field.
