Time-lapse video shows how much work goes into painting The Rock at Tennessee

When someone painted a not-so-classy NSFW message to former Tennessee coach (and current Alabama offensive coordinator) Lane Kiffin on The Rock on Knoxville’s campus, artist Payton Marie Miller sprang into action.
The artist worked hard to cover up the message and paint something better (while still making sure to take a jab at Alabama).
The time-lapse video above shows how much work Miller put into the new painting, which features Smokey as a circus ringleader, with Alabama elephant Big Al doing tricks for him.
Saturday’s game between Alabama and Tennessee kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Central time and can be seen on CBS.
