Titans are ‘increasingly impressed’ with Cam Ward ahead of NFL Draft, per report
The Tennessee Titans appear to be nearing a decision on who they will select with the No. 1 overall pick in next month’s draft.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Titans are scheduled to hold an additional private workout with Miami quarterback Cam Ward ahead of the draft. He also notes the franchise has become “increasingly impressed” with Ward and will increase its asking price for the No. 1 pick in any potential trades.

After some uncertainty earlier on in the pre-draft process, Ward is now massive favorite to go No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ward is -2000 to be the top pick, according to the latest odds from BetMGM.
Ward had a big senior season at Miami. He was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy and nearly led the Canes to the College Football Playoff despite consistent struggles on defense.
If the Titans do take Ward, they would be picking him over players like Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter and Colorado star Travis Hunter. While the order is far from set, those 4 prospects are widely believed to be the top players in the 2025 draft class.
The 2025 NFL Draft will begin on April 24 in Green Bay.
