Is there a quarterback controversy in the Plains?
Auburn found itself looking to avoid an upset loss to visiting Georgia State on Saturday. With the Panthers leading 24-12, Bryan Harsin opted to bench starting quarterback Bo Nix in favor of LSU transfer TJ Finley.
And, with the Tigers trailing 24-19 with under a minute to go, Finley delivered some late-game heroics. He led his team on a 13-play, 98-yard drive that ended with a game-winning touchdown pass to Shedrick Jackson, the 1st of his collegiate career.
You can watch the video below. Finley appeared to be in danger of being sacked on 4th down, but somehow avoided pressure and hit Jackson in the end zone:

Auburn sealed the victory on the ensuing Panthers possession as Darren Grainger threw a pick-6 to Smoke Monday.
The Tigers improve to 3-1 and next travel to Death Valley to take on LSU, a 9 p.m. kickoff on Oct. 2 from Baton Rouge. Will it be Finley against his former team or Nix that gets the start? We’ll find out in due time.
