Georgia tight end Brock Bowers is one of the most known players in all of college football. He is thought to be a surefire first round pick, and may even compete with former Florida Gators tight end Kyle Pitts to be the highest-drafted tight end ever.
If you ask Georgia tight ends coach Todd Hartley to talk about his star tight end, he has many positive things to say about Bowers.
“He’s got extreme talent,” Hartley said. “But what makes him special to me is his competitiveness. He’s the ultimate competitor.”

Last season, Bowers had 942 yards and 7 touchdowns after a freshman season that saw him finish with 882 yards and 13 touchdowns.
With tight end Darnell Washington being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round last year, that was the fourth consecutive year that a Bulldogs tight end was drafted.
Charlier Woerner (2020), Tre McKitty (2021) and John FitzPatrick (2022) were all drafted in the previous years. As good as all 3 of those players were, Bowers figures to be the 5th straight Bulldog to be drafted, and perhaps the highest-drafted tight end ever.
