As Alabama plays its College Football Playoff game in Arlington, Texas, its recruiting prowess continues to be felt.

During the Crimson Tide’s game, one of the nation’s top outside linebacker, Lyndell “Mack” Wilson announced his final three for his recruitment — Alabama, Florida and Georgia. The Nick Saban wheel keeps on turning.

Wilson is currently in Orlando (ironically where Florida is) for the Under Armour All-America Game to be played Saturday at noon at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.

Wilson said he will not make an announcement until Signing Day but told Rivals he was 40-40-20 on his three schools with Alabama and Florida in the lead.

The sense is that he is leaning toward Florida, but he told Rivals he wanted to see how Alabama would react to losing Kirby Smart before making a final decision.

“I am basically looking to see how they are going to react to losing Coach Smart. I want to see what kind of guy Coach Pruitt is. We are going to sit down and talk about life and see how I fit in with the program with him being the defensive coordinator. I will bring my parents with me to see how they like it.”

There still appears to be a lot of visiting and deliberation to do once the dead period ends before Signing Day in February.

Obviously all three schools will be doing their best to bring him in. Right now Alabama is showcasing themselves very well in the Cotton Bowl.
